Camp Maria Retreat Center, operated by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, Kentucky, is a 10 acre site on Southern Maryland’s Breton Bay. Located outside Leonardtown, MD it is just a 1 1/2 hour drive south of Baltimore, Northern Virginia and Washington, DC.

Text Box: MISSION STATEMENT Camp Maria Retreat Center, a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, Kentucky, strives to provide an atmosphere of prayer, hospitality and simplicity in a peaceful, natural environment for retreats and various types of renewal programs. Our facilities are available to those who seek to strengthen and deepen their commitment to God, the Church, and to God’s people throughout the world.

DIRECTIONS FROM RT. 5

Take Route 5 south to Waldorf, where Route 5 makes a left turn. Continue south on Route 5 though Mechanicsville. Route 5 makes a right turn, follow it through Leonardtown. Right on Route 244 (Medley’s Neck Road) for 2 miles. Then right on Breton Beach Road for 1/2 mile. Turn right onto Camp Maria Road.

DIRECTIONS FROM RT. 4

Take Route 4 south though Prince Frederick to Solomon’s Island. Continue on Route 4 over the bridge to St. Mary’s County and to the end of Route 4. Left on Route 5. Right on Route 244 (Medley’s Neck Road) for 2 miles. Then right on Breton Beach Road for 1/2 mile. Turn right onto Camp Maria Road.
